Asylum productions are Launching our Witch Hunt!

This is an Open Casting Call for Community Actors for our forthcoming production - 

The Alice Project  for Kilkenny Arts Festival 2025.

Availability for weekend and evening rehearsals in Late July,

and daytime performance dates between 7th and 16th August is essential.

Please note: these are non-professional roles for community actors/citizen performers. Casting will be by open audition, and all applicants will be given equal consideration, regardless of experience, and or past work with us.

Female

Alice Kyteler: the eponymous so-called witch–playing age, late 40’s, early 50’s.

(note: shared role)

Petronella De Meath – Alice’s maid servant, and ultimate 1st victim of witch burning in Ireland. (note: shared role - this role will not require actual burning).

Bascillia De Meath: - daughter of Petronella - playing age 12 (note: shared role)
